ONE CLASSROOM MANUAL FOR  INCLUSIVE CATHOLIC EDUCATION

Including a child with significant special needs in a school where it's never been done before can be intimidating.  Over and over again we've been told by principals, classroom teachers, and pastors that they would love to be more inclusive but just don't know how.  That is understandable.  A typical teacher training program does not include much instruction on children with special needs.  However, the unknown is usually the scariest part.  Once we meet the child and his or her family, that fear dissipates and the grace of God helps us act.  Here is your roadmap for how to act.  Take this one chapter at a time.  You'll be amazed at what your school is already doing to help all of God's children succeed.
